The first day of celebration will be a free open house event featuring facility tours, a Chamber Ribbon cutting, a video retrospect, live music and refreshments. The second day will be a ticketed event to raise funds to purchase sculptures for the Orpheum Theatre Center's courtyard. The event will feature local musicians, Spooncat!, and a social hour.

"We are excited about the future of the Orpheum. Completing the renovations, and adding sculptures to the courtyard will really add to a 'Great Night Out' for our patrons," said SMG - Sioux Falls General Manager, Russ DeCurtins.

Since early July, The Orpheum Theater has been closed while a project to update the paint, carpet and install period correct seating took place. This project marks the final phase of renovations to the Orpheum Theater Center.

"The Orpheum Theater is a wonderful venue for arts and entertainment in downtown Sioux Falls," Mayor Dave Munson said. "It's so been rewarding to watch the Orpheum's transformation over the past several years, and the renovations we're finishing this year will truly make it a first-class theater that will serve our city far into the future.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 21 at 10AM at the Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations.
