Night Ranger, Gloriana, The Spill Canvas to Headline 15^th Argus Leader RibFest

“Sister Christian” hit-maker Night Ranger opens up this year’s Argus Leader RibFest on Thursday, May 31. The 80s rock band’s hits, which also include “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” “Sentimental Street,” “When You Close Your Eyes,” and “(You Can Still) Rock in America,” continue to be a popular draw here at home and across the globe. Headlining on the Mike’s Hard Lemonade stage Friday night the popular Sioux Falls band The Spill Canvas. Having hit the concert tours hard between 2007 and 2010, including a notable tour with The Goo Goo Dolls, the band is back off hiatus and has written new material. The final night headliner, on Saturday, June 2, is the country band Gloriana whose latest single “(Kissed You) Good Night,” from their forthcoming second studio album, A Thousand Miles Left Behind, on Emblem Music Group/Warner Bros. Records, has become the fastest rising single of the trio’s career already landing in the Top 25 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart.

Gloriana released their debut self-titled album in 2009 and quickly became the best-selling debut country act, winning the 2009 fan-voted American Music Award for Breakthrough Artist and the 2010 Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Vocal Group.
